Iranian media reported that Iranian air defense systems were activated in the northern areas of the capital, Tehran, after monitoring suspicious air targets in the airspace of the region.
The sources confirmed that the Iranian air defenses responded to targets in northern Tehran, with the continued Israeli attacks on Iranian soil, amid allegations of eliminating the Iranian nuclear program.
In a related context, a senior Israeli official told the Times of Israel newspaper that he expected an American decision to be issued within the next few hours, regarding joining the military strikes targeting the Iranian nuclear program, in light of the accelerated escalation between Tel Aviv and Tehran.
