The Israeli occupation army announced today, Tuesday, that it had intercepted a missile fired from Yemen towards Israel, hours after Israeli ships attacking Houthi targets in the port of Hodeidah.
A spokesman for the occupation army, Avichai Adraei, said on the X platform: One missile fired from Yemen was intercepted … An additional objection missile was launched for fear of shrapnel from the objection process.
Arab media reported that the launch of a ballistic missile was monitored by the Houthis towards Israel, and it was intercepted, after the sirens were destroyed in central Israel, and explosions occurred in multiple sites, including the occupation settlements in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The conflict between Israel and the Houthis
In a related context, Israel threatened the Houthi group to impose a naval and air blockade if the attacks continued.
The Israeli occupation army announced earlier today that the navy bombed the port of Hodeidah, after a Houthi channel reported that the port was subjected to two Israeli raids.
Avichai Adraei said: The Israeli Navy missiles attacked Houthi targets in response to the attacks carried out by the Houthi regime against Israel.
