Etihad Air and Europe celebrated the launch of their opening flights with a rental contract with the crew from Abu Dhabi to Madrid, registering the first Spanish carrier from the Middle East.
This historic flight on the Boeing 787-9 plane represents an important development in the partnership between the two companies, based on the expanded agreement to participate in the symbol and their cooperation in the loyalty program. This cooperation highlights the value of strategic partnerships in improving global connection and providing smoother travel options for travelers across four continents.
Etihad Airways is now providing two flights daily to Madrid, where the Boeing 787-9 is running for Ey.103, with 32 business class and 307 Economy class seats. The leasing contract with the crew is largely strengthening Abu Dhabi to Spain and tourism and commercial ties between the two countries.
On this occasion, Antonalo Nevis, CEO of Etihad Air, said: “Today is a new chapter in our partnership with Europe.
For his part, Juan Jose Hidalgo, President of Europe, said: “Our partnership with Etihad Airways is to launch our first flights in the Middle East from Abu Dhabi as a milestone in the process of Europe, as it enables us to meet the increasing demand for travel between Spain and the UAE. Abu Dhabi is a global destination and an ideal platform to expand us to new markets.”
This partnership strengthens the Federation’s commitment to enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as an attractive destination for travelers with the intention of life or entertainment, while strengthening relations with basic European markets such as Spain. Through their joint networks, the two companies allow travelers to travel to more than 130 destinations around the world.
The rental process with the crew sets a solid basis for more strategic initiatives between Etihad Airways and Europe in the future, including opportunities to deepen trade activities and expand bilateral cooperation.
