14 people died, and 6 concrete was injured, on Friday, in a terrible collision between a heavy transport vehicle and a small bus (microbus), on the regional road in the Ashmoun Center in Menoufia Governorate in northern Egypt.
The accident resulted in the fully crashing of the cars, and the bodies and the injured were transferred to Ashmoun General Hospital, where the maximum level of readiness was raised to receive the victims and provide medical care to the injured.
A medical source in the hospital confirmed that 14 bodies were received in the Bagour and Ashmoun, and 6 people with varying cases, indicating that the medical teams continue their efforts to treat the injured.
According to preliminary investigations, the accident occurred as a result of a direct collision between a heavy truck and a small bus (microbus), which is less passengers, due to excessive speed, according to the Associated Press.
The Public Prosecution began an investigation, and decided to assign the forensic medicine to debate the bodies, and a report of the incident was prepared, and the investigation authorities began listening to the statements of eyewitnesses and survivors from the accident.
