Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, stressed that the government worked during the last period to strengthen the strategic stock of basic and strategic commodities, noting that the current situation is one of the best periods that the state is going through in this context.

Madbouly said: We were working to increase the strategic stock of the basic and strategic goods of Egypt, and thank God this stage of our highest periods, we have a secure strategic stock that exceeds 6 months, stressing that efforts also included the local wheat file and internal supply, adding: We were working on it strongly, including internal wheat and supply.

With regard to the energy file, the Prime Minister explained that the management of energy needs was a great embarrassment for the state in previous periods, but the government succeeded in securing effective alternatives, explaining: Today on the ground we have succeeded in providing an alternative to securing gas needs, through the presence of 3 segments on the country’s land, there is a ship that works, two are equipped, and at the end of the month they will enter the service, and by entering them there will be no problems in managing the gas needs For electricity and industry.

Madbouly touched on the possibilities of escalation in the regional situations, saying: It is possible that a greater escalation of the current situation will occur, and we will have scenarios, and on it there will be a very high price of petroleum products and their availability, especially if the conflict is swept away of a regional war, and more than one country entered the conflict.

The Prime Minister added: We discussed in the crisis committee now the status of the worst scenarios, and how to deal with it to secure the Egyptian state from all the possibilities that may occur in this regard.

Madbouly concluded his statements by emphasizing that the current situation is reassuring, saying: So far there is no crisis in anything, and there is no delay or any response in opening documentary credits for any commodity.
