In a remarkable development, one of the most heinous crimes that rocked British public opinion has been returning to the forefront, the authorities announced the setting of next September as a date to review the conditional release request for Lauren Thorp, the youngest condemnation of a dual murder in modern history of Britain, which was shocked by the country when it participated, at the age of fifteen, in the killing of Rosaline Hunt and her father Desmond Thorp in 2009.
The first crime occurred in the city of Epswich, when a fight broke out between Thorp and her friend Paul Clark (41 years old) and Rosalin Hunt (41 years old) due to a dog, so that the situation quickly turned into a separation of brutal torture. The victim was exposed to the skin of her skin with a measuring cheese, and salt was sprayed on her wounds to deliberately paint, and she was kicked and beaten with dogs to death.
Just a few days later, the scene increased horror when Thorp, in cooperation with Clark, killed her disabled father, for fear of disclosing the secret of the crime. Where I strangled him using a pillow, then kicked him fiercely until his last breath, and his body was discovered on August 10, 2009, hours after the body of Hunt was found.
Lauren Thorpe was convicted of life imprisonment in 2010, with the sentence period not less than 14 years. Since then, he is in Faston Hall prison in Derbeshire Province, as she was 31 years old. With the approach of the conditional release committee, the controversy is due to the top of the press and the means of communication in Britain.
A spokesman for the conditional release committee confirmed that the next session will present hundreds of pages of behavior reports and psychological and medical reports, in addition to studying the deep effects that the crime left in the families of the victims.
