Italian journalist Fabrizo Romano, the transfer expert, revealed the position of the Liverpool team on the sale of Darwin Nunez Especially for the Italian Napoli team.

In a post, on his official account on X, Romano confirmed that Napoli has not yet reached an agreement with Liverpool on Darwin Nunez in the recent period to include the player in the current Mercato.
Romano added that Liverpool is still on his position; The Reds want to obtain an amount ranging between 65 and 70 million euros as a minimum offer to start negotiations with the other party that seeks to obtain the player.
The Italian explained that the deal is not close; But it requires slow and fixed progress by both parties.
Darwin Nunez has a contract with Liverpool until 2028, where the Uruguayan striker joined the English club in the summer of 2022 from the ranks of the Portuguese club Benfica.
The Spanish newspaper AS said earlier that the Liverpool club management informed Darwin Nunez that he is not among their plans for the next season, and therefore the player is looking for an appropriate offer to leave the Reds before starting the new season.
The newspaper pointed out that the Nutingham Forest club is very interested in including Darwin Nunez, while Atletico Madrid is entering the deal, since Diego Simeone is ready to include him as soon as possible.
