Customs affairs, in cooperation with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, organized a “customs value” workshop, which comes in implementation of the administrative goal (3.1.1) within the strategic plan for customs clearance management 2024-2027, related to enhancing capacity building and developing specialized competencies.
The workshop aims to build customs capabilities and develop employee skills in the field of customs evaluation, based on the best international practices recommended by the World Customs Organization, which contributes to enhancing customs work efficiency and upgrading it in accordance with international standards.
It is worth noting that the workshop witnessed the participation of (21) employees from all customs outlets in the Kingdom, as part of the administration’s efforts to qualify customs cadres specialized in the field of customs value, in order to support raising the level of performance and achieving institutional excellence in this vital field.
