Cupping is done by withdrawing corrupt or congestion blood from the body through special cups placed on the skin, in two forms, the first “dry cupping” in which cups are used for suction only without taking out blood, and the other image is “wet cupping” that includes light cracks in the skin to remove a small amount of blood after the suction process, and its type is chosen according to the pathological condition.

Cupping is one of the most important means of prophetic medicine, as it was proven by Al -Tirmidhi in Al -Shamil on the authority of Anas, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “If I represent what you have been cupping,” as the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “ I guided the Prophet- may God bless him and grant him peace- to this matter.
It is preferable to conduct preventive cupping on certain days of the lunar month, especially in 17, 19 and 21, as stated in the Prophet’s Sunnah.
