The General Administration of Anti -Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security confirmed that within the framework of continuous monitoring and follow -up to what is published through social networks, the Cyber Crime Administration managed to arrest three people, after they offended the use of social media and bringing lawful acts by law by publishing content that includes acts and sayings that violate public morals.
The Director General of the General Administration for Anti -Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security pointed out that such actions, which are punishable by law, also represents a transgression of norms and traditions rooted in Bahraini society, and the authentic religious and moral values that enjoy it, pointing out that legal measures are taken towards everyone who abuses these platforms, in order to preserve the public order and preserve societal values.
