Cholera leads to the lives of seven people in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire

Today, the health authorities in Côte d’Ivoire announced the death of seven people in the city of Abidjan due to the outbreak of the cholera epidemic during the past four days.

Dr. Daniel Ikra, Director of the National Institute of Public Health in Côte d’Ivoire, explained during a press conference that the epidemic hit the village of Freddy Akoprakri, located in the municipality of Port Boya, Abidjan, noting that 45 cases of injuries were recorded, including seven deaths, in the village so far this month.
