In a move that reflects an accelerated trend towards developing mini -reconnaissance technologies, a Chinese army research institution announced a new model of a drone spy plane in size and shape that resembles mosquitoes, in an innovation that opens new horizons for private military tasks, according to the Independent newspaper.
The plane, which was developed by researchers at the National Defense University of Technology (NUDT) in Hunan Province, features two wings that can be controlled via a smartphone, and accurate legs of the size of the hair, provided with accurate sensors that enable them to carry out monitoring tasks in high -risk environments.

These applications were not limited to China and the United States, as American armed forces adopted another model of a precise reconnaissance plane known as “Black Hornet” produced by a Norwegian company, and is equipped with cameras and heat imaging, and can be carried in the pocket thanks to its mini size.
In a more strange development, since 2006, the US Department of Defense Defense Research Projects has been developing hybrid planes of “Siborg insects”, by planting electronic chips inside real insect bodies, such as beetles and cockroaches, and motivating them through electrical impulses to carry out accurate spy tasks.
Observers believe that this race towards developing mini -spy technology may reshape the features of intelligence and military action during the coming decades, where nature interferes with technology and insects become advanced tools in the digital war field.
