Abu Dhabi: The Gulf celebrates the World Camel Day 2025, which falls on June 22 of each year, as it highlights the historical, economic and cultural importance of camels, especially in the Middle East and the Gulf states, within the framework of global efforts to improve veterinary care with camels and promote biological security, and support the sustainability of the sector, which is a basic pillar in achieving food security. The Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE stands out as a global pioneer in this field through the center cooperating in camel diseases of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Agriculture and Food Safety, which obtained the accreditation of the World Animal Health Organization in May 2022, and is the first of its kind globally in its precise specialization. 300
