While we salute the International asteroid Day on June 30 – which was approved by the United Nations in commemoration of the “Tongoska” explosion in 1908 – we reminded us of this occasion that an important space danger, which seemed far away, still exists.
But the Earth also has its challenges, and the climate is progressing.
This is confirmed by the Kingdom of Bahrain through its honorable participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2025), where she was a guest of honor, represented by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charitable Works and Youth Affairs in confident words and poisonous poetry, in which he carried the message of His Majesty the Great King, may God protect him and his sponsors, and Bahrain’s brotherly feeling with Russia and the world.
His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dinah, Minister of Oil and Environment, the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, also participated in a scientific and knowledge weight, and six memoranda of understanding was signed in vital areas such as climate, energy and media, which reflects the role of Bahrain as an honorable confrontation and a future vision.
In both events – the danger of the asteroid and climate conference – the message clearly shows:
Knowledge, knowledge and anticipation are the tools of survival.
The threat may come from the sky, as it may arise from under our feet.
Here, it is not enough to continue, but rather to participate and initiate, as Bahrain did: with its presence, vision, and willingness to the future.
