The Kingdom of Bahrain is preparing to embrace the Asian Nations Volleyball Cup for men 2025, which will be held during the period from 17 to 24 June, at the Issa Bin Rashid Volleyball Hall in Riffa, with the participation of 12 Asian teams competing for the continental title that the Qatari team holds.
This is the second consecutive version organized by the Bahrain Volleyball Federation, after the remarkable success in hosting the last version, which reflects the great confidence that the Federation enjoys from the Asian Volleyball Federation, and confirms the high organizational efficiency and accumulated experience in managing the most prominent continental championships.
This hosting comes as a continuation of a march of continuous successes achieved by the Bahraini Federation over the past years, which has contributed prominently to the consolidation of the name of Bahrain on the Asian and international volleyball map, as a pivotal center for organizing major sporting events.
This hosting is consistent with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, aimed at consolidating Bahrain’s position as the capital of global sport, by attracting and organizing continental and international championships according to the highest standards, as well as supporting national teams to achieve the best results.
This step also comes as a translation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in strengthening Bahraini presence on the international sports arena, and raising the level of organization and technical and administrative readiness.
The Bahrain Volleyball Federation, led by its national cadres, continues to embody this ambitious vision at a steady pace, through a series of successful hosts, where the Asian Nations Cup for men 2025 is added to the Kingdom’s record of organizing the largest sporting events, reflecting the pioneering position that Bahrain occupies in the Asian and international sports arena.
