The United Kingdom’s accession to the agreement, which was announced during the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, to London, is the culmination of a rising path of close cooperation between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, and at the same time reflects His Highness’s efforts to enhance national security by expanding the circle of partnerships with strategic allies, whether from inside or outside the region.
The security integration and prosperity agreement came in the context of the rapid security changes in the region, and with the joining of the United Kingdom, the agreement is transferred to a more firm stage, not only at the military level, but also at the level of economic and technological security, which gives it an integral dimension that was not available before.
