“Bahrain Development” concludes his participation in “Bahrain’s achievement for young entrepreneurs”

Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), the leading bank in supporting small and medium enterprises in the Kingdom of Bahrain, concluded its success successfully in the seventeenth edition of the Bahrain annual completion competition for young entrepreneurs 2025. Over the course of June 3 and 4 this year at the Crown Plaza Hotel, the event witnessed the presence of student teams from various schools and universities in the Kingdom, and the victory of each of:

1. Cashef from the British School in Bahrain won the innovative project of the secondary school track

2. Nitajna from the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies won the innovative project award for universities

3.

4. Petroleum from the University of Bahrain won the International Impact Award for Universities

5.

6. Ta’uq from the University of Bahrain won the Product of the General Product for the Universities Pass

7. Thimar from the Bakin Private School won the General Schools’ High School Company Award

8. A drop from the American University in Bahrain won the Award of General for the Universities Pass

9. Dubi, a farmer school, won the Excellence Award in Environmental and Social Governance, presented by (Babco Enege)

10. Cashef from the British School in Bahrain won the Best Corner and Brand Prize (presented by Pask)

11. Baby from the University of Bahrain won the Best Financial Performance Award (presented by Credit Max)

12. A drop from the American University in Bahrain won the Technology Excellence Award presented by (National Bank of Bahrain)

13. Hood Al -Bawari, from Al -Falah Schools, won the Princess of the CEO, presented by (Bahrain National Insurance Company)

Within this initiative, Mr. Ali Youssef Al -Aradi, CEO of Banking Services at the Bahrain Development Bank, participated in the jury of the Bahrain achievement competition for young entrepreneurs 2025, which is composed of experts and professionals specialized from the public and private sectors. Participants from school and university students reviewed their innovations as part of an integrated practical experience that included: developing products, developing work plans, marketing, and resource management, then the winners are chosen according to their pioneering projects presented.

On this occasion, Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain’s achievement, said: “We are proud of the support of the Bahrain Development Bank for this competition aimed at enabling the future generation of young entrepreneurs, and we value the participation of Mr. Youssef Al -Aradi within the jury, where his extensive experience, his skill and the sobriety of his decisions contributed to choosing the winning projects. With a system of entrepreneurship locally, it contributes to activating the role of startups, small and medium -sized companies within the acceleration of the national recovery plan and the advance of economic development, in line with the Bahrain Vision 2030.

For his part, Mr. Ali Youssef Al -Aradi, CEO of Banking Services at the Bahrain Development Bank, said: “We have been happy to participate in supporting the annual Bahrain achievement competition for young entrepreneurs in its version for this year, which aimed to expand the perceptions of the emerging generation around the world of entrepreneurship. Their entrepreneurial ideas to realistic projects with an economic, societal and developmental impact.

This competition came with the aim of providing an interactive educational environment that simulates the experience of establishing startups, which formed a vital platform to support Bahraini talents and expand their perceptions in the world of entrepreneurship. This makes the participation of the Bahrain Development Bank in this initiative, a step that reflects its continuous commitment to supporting youth innovation and enhancing the spirit of entrepreneurship in the local community. It also emphasizes his active participation in various initiatives that focus on empowering competencies, developing skills, and providing small and medium enterprises in Bahrain with innovative financial solutions.
