Data issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics revealed a short time ago that Egypt has issued fuel and metal biota and its distillation products worth $ 1.9 billion, to the group of seven countries during the past year 2024.
The fuel ranks first in Egypt’s exports to the 7 largest economically countries in the world during 2024
It is noteworthy that the Group countries, which include the seven largest economies in the world, are: the United States of America, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Canada and Japan.
Egypt also exported to the seven countries ready -made clothes of $ 1.6 billion, machines and electrical appliances worth $ 862 million, and vegetables and fruits worth $ 834 million.
While fertilizer exports to the seven countries during 2024 amounted to 569 million dollars, and aluminum, at a value of $ 523 million, and its artifacts, at a value of 521 million dollars.
The value of Egyptian imports from the Group of Seven countries reached 20.2 billion dollars during the year 2024, compared to $ 17.4 billion during the year 2023, an increase of 16.1 %.
It is noteworthy that Egypt’s total fuel imports increased by 26% during 2024, compared to the size of imports of about 12.3 billion dollars during 2023.
Egypt’s imports of crude oil, petroleum products and gas contributed to meeting the needs of the various state sectors of the fuel needed for operation, especially with the electricity and industrial projects, as well as bridging the gap between production and local consumption of oil derivatives, as fuel imports represent approximately 20 to 25% of the market consumption according to the source.
