The provincial bodies in Aswan continue their efforts to provide various facilities for farmers to make the wheat supply season a success for the current harvest season 2025, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi.
Skip the target to supply wheat quantities by 113 %
In this context, Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor of Aswan, stressed the success of the province in overcoming the target to supply wheat quantities by 113 %, as the total supplied quantities reached 552 thousand and 335 tons so far, directing the catering officials and the competent authorities to continue at the same level of performance to achieve more success, and receive the largest possible amount of local wheat until the end of the harvest season in mid -August.
While Eng. Khaled Abu Al -Qasim, Director General of Supply, explained that, in coordination with the various parties, competition is provided between farmers by encouraging them and urging them to supply all quantities of this strategic crop and exceed the target by the largest percentage of this year.
Pointing out that the quantities supplied from the wheat crop included 151 thousand and 937 tons inside the silos, cunning and nuns in the governorate, while 400 thousand and 398 tons were supplied inside the neighboring governorates of the governorates that were coordinated with them to receive the quantities of wheat in tracing and guiding in Qena, Esna, Sohag, Beni Suef, Fayoum and Minya, which is parallel to providing 31 thousand and 978 of the seeds by Equipment centers in the lake and the tenth of Ramadan and Beni Suef.
