The Spanish club Real Madrid presented today, Thursday, its new player, Trent Alexander Arnold, to the media, at an official conference held inside the Sports City “Valdibibas”, in the presence of Florentino Perez, the club president, to start his new journey with “Merengue” days before his first appearance in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
Long -term deal and family appearance
On May 30, Real Madrid announced its contract with Arnold with a contract that extends until June 2031, after agreeing with his former club Liverpool to complete the deal one month before the end of his contract for 10 million euros.
The application ceremony witnessed the player officially signing his contracts, before moving with the club president to take memorial photos inside the historical museum, alongside his family, and next to the 15 Champions League cups, which decorate the history of the Royal Club.
Shirt No. 12 and Century Prize
Arnold appeared for the first time in Real Madrid’s “12” shirt, which he will wear in all his participation with the team, the first of which is during the Club World Cup. Florentino Perez was also keen to accompany him to the Century Club Award, which is the prize that Real Madrid own exclusively in the world, which reflects its symbolism in the club’s philosophy and historical value.

In his welcome speech, Perez expressed his happiness with Arnold’s joining, saying:
“We are pleased to receive a big star the size of Trent Alexander Arnold at Real Madrid. I have written a history in England, and now you will write new chapters here. This is where the great people belong. ”
