Earlier, the Islamic Research Academy in Al -Azhar launched a comprehensive awareness campaign entitled: (And whoever revives it); To confront the phenomenon of revolting rivalries that are among the dangerous societal phenomena that threaten the security of individuals and the stability of societies, the bloodshed of innocent people, and spread hatred and division, within the framework of the pioneering role played by Al -Azhar in the service of society issues, and in the light of the directives of the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, the need to intensify awareness efforts Protective to address negative phenomena from a comprehensive religious and human perspective.
The campaign aims to spread the culture of forgiveness and tolerance among people, correcting false concepts associated with revenge, and consolidating religious values that prohibit bloodshed and unlawfully, and calls for anger and reform among people, as well as supporting the efforts of societal reconciliation committees in villages and centers, and promoting confidence in the role of religious institutions Civil peace, and activating the meaningful religious discourse in addressing sensitive societal issues.
