A group of electronic piracy against the Iranian government claimed, in publications on social media, today, Tuesday, that it destroyed the statements of the Iranian -owned Iranian “Sebah” bank.
The group has possible relations with Israel, and has a record of destructive electronic attacks against Iranian targets.
A message published on the Internet stated that the group, known as “Jongchki Darandi” or “predatory bird”, penetrated the bank, which it accused of helping to finance the Iranian army.
This penetration comes amid the escalation of military tensions between Tel Aviv and Tehran, after Israel launched attacks on several military and nuclear targets inside Iran last week, followed by an exchange of missile attacks between the two sides in the following days.
The bank’s website was out of service today, Tuesday, and its LLC, based on the bank, did not respond to a request to comment, was sent via email, according to Reuters.
Israeli media indicate that customers are facing difficulties in reaching their accounts.
