Representative Hassan Ibrahim Hassan stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, in light of the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, has achieved qualitative leaps in the legislative construction, and a democratic advancement that enhances the path of the modern state, and keeps pace with the aspirations of citizens in various development fields.
He pointed out that the continuous support that the legislative authority enjoys from His Majesty the King is a major pillar in the success of parliamentary action, and contributes to the consolidation of the state of institutions and law, praising in this context the strategic partnership and constructive integration between the legislative and executive authorities, which reflected positively on the performance of national institutions.
Representative Hassan Ibrahim praised the prominent leadership role of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, in consolidating the principles of sustainability and administrative and economic reform, and enhancing the performance of the Bahrain team in a way that serves the higher interests of the homeland and the citizen.
On the occasion of the International Day of Parliamentary Work, which falls on the thirtieth of June, which is held this year under the slogan “achieving gender equality … step by step”, Representative Hassan Ibrahim pointed out that Bahrain has become an advanced model in empowering women and enhancing their participation in legislative and political life, thanks to the supportive laws and comprehensive national vision.
He indicated that Bahraini women have proven high efficiency in parliamentary work, and contributed to a tangible role in communicating the voice of the country in Gulf and international forums, noting that the gender balance in the legislative work is one of the most prominent achievements of the modern civil state pursued by the Kingdom.
He stressed that the legislative authority continues to support Bahraini women and highlight their roles in various fields, to remain an active partner in the march of national progress, and a bright image of the pictures of the modern Bahraini renaissance.
Representative Hassan Ibrahim also noted that the Bahraini legislative march continues its development in a comprehensive national spirit, which pushes towards the approval of qualitative legislation that affects the lives of citizens and keeps pace with the developments of the times, especially in the fields of digital economy, environmental transformation, and cybersecurity.
Representative Hassan Ibrahim Hassan added that Parliament today plays an active diplomatic role that reflects the Kingdom’s visions in regional and international parliamentary forums, stressing that these posts enhance Bahrain’s position and contribute to building bridges of cooperation with the world parliaments.
