Ambassador Al -Mansour: Bahraini citizens in Iraq are fine and we will closely follow their conditions

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Iraq, Khaled Al -Mansour, stressed that the Bahraini citizens present in Iraq are fine, noting that the embassy is closely following their conditions in continuous coordination with the concerned authorities and the Bahraini campaigns.

The ambassador said in a message of reassurance this evening: “Everyone reassures that things are good, praise be to God, and we communicate continuously with the Bahraini citizens present in Iraq, and their safety is a top priority for us.”

He explained that the closure of the airspace in Iraq came as a result of the current developments in the region, which are exceptional circumstances that affect several countries adjacent to Iran, expressing his hope that these conditions will disappear during the coming period and that flights will be resumed naturally

The ambassador expressed his hope that these conditions will be removed during the coming period and that flights will resume normally. He said: “According to the follow -up, the vast majority of Bahrainis have returned to the homeland after the end of the visit season, and the remainder of them limited numbers are limited to and communicating with them in coordination with the travel campaigns.”

He stressed that the embassy is receiving contacts from Bahraini citizens, and gave them advice to wait and follow up on the official directives until the situation stabilizes and the atmosphere is safely opened.

Ambassador Al -Mansour concluded with a message of reassurance, saying: “They are temporary conditions that we hope will be revealed soon, and we are continuing to monitor the situation and communicate with the competent authorities to ensure the safety of our citizens at all times.”
