Ali Makki Al -Sheikh, Chairman of the Stadium Committee in the Asian Nations Volleyball Cup for men, confirmed the complete readiness to receive the Asian teams participating in the championship, which the Kingdom of Bahrain will host at the Issa Bin Rashid Volleyball Hall in Riffa, during the period from 17 to 24 June, with the participation of 12 teams from the Asian continent.
The Sheikh explained that the committee has finished all the works related to the main hall, noting that the Issa bin Rashid hall is ready to host official matches, after completing a series of artistic and organizational works.
He added that the stadium committee has developed since its formation a studied action plan aimed at completing all the technical requirements and requirements approved by the Asian Volleyball Federation, in order to ensure early readiness and avoid any organizational obstacles before the start of the championship, as the bench site was changed to the opposite side of the platform based on the new requirements that are compatible with the International Federation of the game.
The Sheikh pointed out that the committee worked to equip both the main hall and the sub -hall according to the approved standards, where the pitch was planned and the arrangement of the sites of the Committee for the Refunction and Statistics, the update of the registration table, and to ensure the readiness of the internal display screens, as well as the rooms of clothing replacement and the locations of the various committees inside the hall facilities were prepared.
The Sheikh explained that the committee is currently working on developing the final touches, which include installing e -advertising screens on the sides of the stadium and in the free zone, in a move aimed at enhancing the general aesthetic appearance of the hall and providing a professional atmosphere comparable to major international championships.
4 halls for adherence
Within the framework of comprehensive arrangements, the executive committee of the tournament has allocated four gyms for the training of the teams, namely: Al -Ahly Club Hall, Al -Shabab Club Hall, Aali Club Hall, and Al -Nasr Club Hall.
On the other hand, the Executive Committee prepared an integrated timetable for the training of the participating teams, starting from the moment it arrives in the Kingdom and continues during the tournament days, where the training sessions start on a daily basis starting from nine in the morning, with accurate organization to avoid any overlap and ensure the readiness of all teams to play their matches.
At the end of his statement, Ali Makki confirmed that the stadium committee will continue its work in the coming days to ensure the optimal readiness, reflecting the honorable image of the Kingdom of Bahrain in hosting major sporting events, and enhancing its position as a preferred destination for organizing continental and international championships.
