The Foreign Minister, d. Abdul Latif Al -Zayani, a phone call yesterday, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Mr. Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al -Busaidi.
During the call, the developments of the regional situation, the regional and international efforts aimed at maintaining the ceasefire between Israel and Iran, softened the severity of tension, and pushing the efforts to resume the American -Iranian negotiations through the Sultanate of Oman in order to preserve security and regional stability.
The two sides also discussed strengthening cooperation, coordination and consultation between the countries of the Cooperation Council to perpetuate the unity of the Gulf position, preserve the security and stability of the member states and protect their interests under the current circumstances.
