He announced the winners of the Prime Minister of the Press in its ninth session 2025 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, which included ten developed categories, as it witnessed strong competition between press institutions and journalists in Bahrain.
Al -Watan newspaper won the award for the best news site for a press institution, and the award went to the director of digital content colleague Faisal Al -Ali.
Issa Al -Shayji, head of the editor -in -chief of the Al -Ayyam newspaper and head of the Bahraini Journalists Association, honored the Personality of the Year award in appreciation of his distinguished contributions in the press field.
In the category of the best opinion column, colleague d. Abdullah Al -Madani from Al -Ayyam newspaper.
In the category of the best press investigation, colleague Ali Al -Fardan won the award newspaper, while colleague Mohammed Al -Sa’i from the Gulf News newspaper won the award for the best press interview.
Colleague Ali Abdel -Khalek also won the Gulf News Award for the best visual journalistic content (video), and colleague Jamil Sarhan from the same newspaper with the Best Infographic Award.
In the category of the best press photo, colleague Sultan Al -Haddad won the Bahrain News Agency, while the award for the best specialized or attached page went to colleague Amal Al -Aradi from the country newspaper.
As for the award for the best student press project for universities, it was from Noura Al -Ruwaie and Abdullah Al -Mulla from the Gulf University.
These prizes come to enhance the status of the Bahraini press, and honor the efforts made in providing distinct media content that reflects professionalism and creativity.
