The Bahraini director Bassam Al -Thawadi emphasized the pioneering role played by the Dana Award for Drama in upgrading the Gulf dramatic scene, considering that Bahrain continues to confirm its historical position in leading the cultural and artistic movement.
Al -Thawadi said: “The presence of the award in Bahrain enhances the name of the Kingdom in the Gulf drama arena, and it has turned into an important and influential symbol in the field of drama and arts.”
Al -Thawadi added that the award is attracting workers in the dramatic field at the level of the Arab world, expressing his confidence that it will reach the world in the near future, because Bahrain is always a pioneer in such initiatives.
