The Fuot Africa newspaper specialized in African football has announced the ideal squad for African players in the group stage of the 2025 Club World Cup, which is currently held in the United States of America, which has witnessed a distinguished presence of some names despite the disappointment of early exit for all representatives of the continent.
Bin Ramadan and Zizou brilliance despite Al -Ahly’s farewell
The ideal squad included the duo Mohamed Ali bin Ramadan and Ahmed Sayed Zizou from the ranks of the Egyptian Al -Ahly Club, in reference to the remarkable individual performance of each. The newspaper pointed out that Bin Ramadan “showed a great balance between defensive and offensive roles”, while Zizou described it as “the best player in Al -Ahly squad during the World Cup.”

Despite the distinguished presence of some players, the current version of the tournament was known to one of the worst continental participation of the African teams, as all clubs invited the competitions from the group stage:
• Al -Ahly of Egypt was satisfied with two draws and a loss in the first group, collecting only two points.
• Tunisian Esperance achieved a single victory against two defeats in the third group, ending its three -point career.
• Mamelodi Sun Downs dissolved a third in his group with 4 points, despite his strong performance against Dortmund and Flomeini.
• Moroccan Wydad, empty -handed, came out after three consecutive defeats against Manchester City, Juventus, and the Emirati eye.
