The Ajman Youth Council launched the “Ghors” initiative, which aims to enhance the concepts of sustainability among young people, and stimulate their participation in environmental issues, based on their awareness and their ability to societal influence. The initiative comes within the framework of national efforts to empower youth and enhance their role in achieving the goals of sustainable development and organizes in cooperation with the Emirates Business Entrepreneurship Council, the Emirates Agriculture Council and the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman, Ajman University, Sharjah University, Zayed University and the Environmental Organization «Greenpeace MENA).
