The General Command of Ajman Police, represented by the Department of Media and Public Relations, launched the “Deir Palak” initiative, to raise awareness of the seriousness of committing traffic violations and wrong behaviors that cause accidents and expose lives and property. Lt. Col. Rashid Hamid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrols Department, stressed that the initiative seeks to raise the level of traffic awareness of the drivers, and to alert them to the seriousness of serious violations, such as bypassing the red signal, sudden deviation, and lack of adherence to the itinerary. The publication of these realistic scenes enhances the public’s awareness and encourages adherence to traffic laws, to avoid the dire results resulting from neglect or recklessness in leadership.
