The Board of Directors of the Football Association, headed by Eng. Hani Abu Raida, issued a decision regarding the task of supervising the Federation’s Players Affairs Committee.

Cairo learned 24 that the Board of the Football Association assigned Counselor Ahmed Helmy Al -Sharif, a member of the council, to take over the supervision of the Players Affairs Committee during the next stage.
The Players Affairs Committee is scheduled to hold its first meetings under the supervision of Ahmed Helmy Al -Sharif next Wednesday.
Summer and winter registration dates
In another context, the Football Association notified the league and club clubs in all departments with the dates of the summer and winter registration periods for the new football season 2025-2026.
According to a document obtained by Cairo 24, it was decided to open the summer registration door on June 11, with it to be closed for the Premier League clubs on August 6.
The Football Association, according to the document sent to the clubs on June 28, set a final date for the clubs in all departments to complete the registration of their first lists, which includes the players in charge of their contracts and extended in the new season.
According to the document, the Football Association set the date for the winter registration to start on January 1, and ends next February 8.
The dates of the end of the summer registration period for the sections differ in the lower grades, as the summer registration of the second division clubs ends on August 10, the third section on August 12, the fourth section on August 18, the Sunni stages and the halls on June 18, and the women’s ball on August 16.
