The Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi confirmed that private schools must keep graduate students ‘records indefinitely and other students’ records for a period of no less than 5 years after the student leaves the school, preferably kept in the electronic archive, provided that “registration, academic achievements, daily attendance, and other discipline records.” The department stated, in the school policy on the records, from which the Gulf obtained a copy, and entered into force at the beginning of the current school year, provided that all schools are compatible with this policy by the first semester of the 2025 academic year 2026, that it is considered the creation of clear, complete, accurate and updated records
