His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marcelo Luis Eftrard, met with the Mexican Minister of Economy, as part of a working visit by His Highness to Mexico City. During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them in the economic and investment fields were reviewed, in addition to discussing the opportunities available to expand cooperation in a number of vital sectors such as energy, advanced technology, and food security. During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the depth of Emirati Mexican relations, and the keenness to build an economic partnership that supports their common interests, and contributes to achieving comprehensive development and economic prosperity
