Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji in a new tweet via the X platform, on Tuesday, alluded to an agreement to stop the war with Israel.
Araqji thanked him for “all the Iranian people”, expressing his gratitude to the armed forces, which he described as courage and permanent readiness to defend the homeland until the last drop of blood.
He wrote, “The military operations of our strong armed forces continued to punish Israel for its aggression until the last minute, at four o’clock in the morning.”
In another context, a high -ranking official in Iran confirmed, in a press statement, that the ceasefire between Iran and Israel will start at 3:30 am Jerusalem time.
US President Donald Trump had previously announced through his social media account of this agreement, noting that the ceasefire will start about 6 hours after the announcement of the final task of the two parties, and will continue for 12 hours, after which the war will be considered an end.
According to the agreement, Iran will be the party that begins the ceasefire, followed by Israel after 12 hours.
Trump also pointed out that the end of the “12 -day war” will be celebrated by the people and the world at 24 pm.
Trump added that during the ceasefire period, the two parties will adhere to “complete peace and respect”, expressing his hope that this agreement will be the beginning of a new stage of stability in the region.
