The security services in the Qena Security Directorate arrested a young man on charges of excavating antiquities inside his home, and caused 5 homes of his neighbors, in the Al -Fuqani Market area in Bandar Qena district.
The beginning came when the Qena Security Directorate received a notification from the Qena Police Department, stating that a report had been damaged that there were cracks in the walls of his house due to the excavation of antiquities in his neighbor’s house in the Al -Fuqani market area in the department’s department.

A security force from the Qena Police Department and the investigation authorities headed by Counselor Mahmoud Al -Gharabawi, Director of the Public Prosecution of Bandar Qena, moved to the location of the incident, and after the examination it was found that a hole was found several meters deep inside water that was dug several months ago and left, and the water affected the neighboring houses.
One of the inheritors of the house was seized in the located in the thirties of his ages on charges of excavating antiquities in the Al -Souq Al -Fouqani area, Bandar Qena, and a report of the incident was issued and the competent authorities were notified to conduct investigations.
