Egypt has expressed its welcome to the official and popular regional positions, which support Palestinian rights, and reject the siege, starvation, and Israeli violations against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In this regard, Egypt affirmed, through a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday, its continuation of work at all levels to end the aggression on the sector and the humanitarian catastrophe that was affected by more than 2 million Palestinians.
In this context, and in light of the requests and inquiries related to the visit of foreign delegations to the border region adjacent to the city of Al -Arish and the Rafah crossing during the recent period, to express the support of Palestinian rights, Egypt stressed the need to obtain prior approvals to complete these visits.
She added that the only way to continue the Egyptian authorities to consider these requests is by following the organizational controls and mechanisms followed since the start of the war on Gaza, which is to apply for an official request for Egyptian embassies abroad or through requests submitted by foreign embassies in Cairo, or representatives of organizations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, knowing that many visits have already been arranged for foreign delegations, whether governmental or from non -governmental human rights organizations.
Egypt stressed the importance of adhering to these organizational controls that were developed, to ensure the security of visiting delegations as a result of the accuracy of the situation in that border area since the beginning of the crisis in Gaza.
In this regard, she explained that no requests or response to any invitations are considered outside the framework specified by the regulatory controls and the mechanism followed in this regard.
Egypt also stressed in the official statement the importance of the citizens ’commitment to the laws and rules regulating entry into Egyptian lands, including obtaining pre -and organized visas or permits for this.
Egypt also stressed its steadfast stance in support of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on its land, and rejecting the flagrant Israeli violations of international law and international humanitarian law, and stresses the importance of pressure on Israel to end the siege on the sector and allow human access from all Israeli roads and crossings with the sector.
