Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the media center of the General Meteorological Authority, revealed the start of a gradual rise in temperatures throughout the republic starting from Thursday, and will continue for several days, in conjunction with the blessed Eid Al -Adha holiday.
The start of a gradual rise in temperatures
Ghanem said in televised comments that the air blocs that affected the country during the past days were coming from southern Europe, which contributed to the low temperatures to range from 30 to 32 degrees Celsius, with a relatively moderate spring atmosphere.
Ghanem added: But starting today, the country is exposed to a high air extension in the upper atmosphere, in addition to the effect of air masses coming from desert areas, which leads to a noticeable rise in temperatures at a rate ranging from two degrees to 4 degrees Celsius compared to the past days.
She said that the Great in Greater Cairo today records about 35 degrees Celsius, with hot and moderate weather at night, while temperatures reach 40 degrees Celsius in southern Upper Egypt, warning against direct exposure to sunlight, especially at noon.
It also indicated that the small temperatures during the night hours range between 16 and 21 degrees Celsius, with a noticeable activity of winds on some areas such as Greater Cairo and South Sinai, which contributes to softening the atmosphere at night.
