Participants in the conference on women’s rights in the Arab region and the world, which was organized by the University of Malla and the Andalusia Governorate in the Kingdom of Spain, emphasized the leading Bahraini experience in the field of protecting women’s rights, expressing their appreciation for the efforts made to enhance the role of women in society, which reflects the Kingdom’s firm commitment to global principles of human rights and women’s empowerment.
The Head of the Human Rights Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. During her participation in the conference, Al -Sayed narrated a comprehensive presentation in which she highlighted the pioneering achievements made by Bahraini women in light of the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country’s great country, and with the support of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
It also highlighted the unlimited support that Bahraini women received, which resulted in remarkable progress in all aspects of life, reviewing the tireless efforts made by the Supreme Council for Women headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of the superpower of the country, which contributed to enhancing the status of Bahraini women as a role model in the region and the world.
The master pointed to the participation of Bahraini women active in the fields of work and education and many other vital sectors, noting the Kingdom’s distinction by achieving high levels of women’s participation in various fields of life compared to many countries.
And she indicated that this participation comes as an affirmation of the insightful vision of the Bahraini leadership in women’s progress and guaranteeing their rights, and believing in their pivotal role in building society and its progress.
