A failed space mission that causes more than 160 human remains to lose

In an unfortunate accident, a space capsule was crashed with the remains of 166 people in the Pacific Ocean on Tuesday, June 24, after the failure of its mission, which led to the loss of its contents in the sea.

The spacecraft achieved many technical successes, as it reached the specified orbit and began the journey of returning to Earth as it was planned.

But the surprise came when returning, when the main umbrellas failed to work properly, causing the capsule that weighed 1.6 tons fell very quickly and destroyed it in the ocean.

This failure means that families who were hoping to restore the remains of their loved ones will not be able to do so. The organizing company has made an official apology to all the affected families, confirming that it will communicate with each family separately to provide adequate support and explanation of what happened.

Human remains were not all that was lost in this incident, as the vehicle also carried the seeds of hemp plant within a scientific experience aimed at studying the effect of lack of gravity on plants, as part of research to plant plants in space in the future. All of these contents were lost at the ocean floor forever.

This is not the first time that such tasks have failed. Last year, a similar mission witnessed an explosion that destroyed the missile seconds after its launch. These incidents raises questions about the readiness of these technologies, especially when they relate to sensitive matters such as human remains.

The German car manufacturer “Nix”, which is called “The Exploren”, confirms that it will continue its career, taking advantage of the lessons extracted from this failure, as it plans for an ambitious mission to the International Space Station by 2028, despite the suspicion of experts in the current technology readiness to achieve this goal.
