A British study published today (Saturday) showed expectations that the death toll would include about 600 cases in England and Wales as a result of the heat wave this week.

The researchers used the study from the London College of Public and Equatorial Health, and the Empire London College; British data collected over decades to anticipate excessive deaths during hot temperatures from Thursday to Sunday.

The British Press Agency (BA Media) reported that the study expects that about 570 people will die from heat for four days.

It is estimated that excessive deaths will reach their climax today (Saturday), when the heat reaches the highest intensity.

It is expected that London will witness the largest number of excess deaths with 129 deaths.
