The General Traffic Department continues its traffic campaigns in all roads and axes in coordination with the traffic departments in the various security directorates to run traffic and achieve traffic discipline, reduce the occurrence of accidents on the roads, apply traffic law and regulations to the drivers of cars and control the violators of them.
Campaign to achieve traffic discipline
It resulted in its efforts within 24 hours the seizure of 52959 various traffic violations, including the following violations: 985 traffic violations without licenses, 22 motorcycles of a violation, as well as 42,529 violations exceeding the prescribed speed, 6 violations of random position, in addition to 602 violations of speaking in the mobile phone while driving, and 18 violations of licensing conditions, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
This came in implementation of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to intensify traffic campaigns on all roads and fields to run traffic, achieve traffic discipline, and reduce road accidents.
