Sharjah: “The Gulf” launched the Sharjah Charitable Society, the “Small Hearts” initiative, which aims to treat children with critical heart diseases in the Republic of Bangladesh, through conducting catheterization and open heart surgeries, within the framework of the association’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of patients and support urgent humanitarian cases, as part of the ten initiatives of Dhu al -Hijjah. The initiative covers the implementation of 50 surgeries at a total cost of 250,000 dirhams, at a rate of 5,000 dirhams for one operation, which is performed with the knowledge of the volunteer medical team with the campaign headed by Dr. Ahmed Al -Kamali, a pediatric cardiac consultant at Al Qasimi Hospital for Children, Women and Childbirth.
