The Assistant Minister of Local Development, the ministry’s spokesperson, Dr. Khaled Qassem, confirmed that the lands of the country that are recovered after the removal of the encroachments are delivered to the state authorities in order to maximize and preserve the benefit to prevent the return of the infringement.
Qasim: 18 thousand removal of various violations on the lands of the state
Qasim said in a telephone interview with the Good Morning Egypt program on Egyptian TV, that the second stage of the 26th wave to remove encroachments on the lands of the state and agricultural lands is implemented in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for the Recovery of Land with the governorates and security directorates, and all the executive agencies in the governorates.
He added that this stage was preceded by 25 waves to recover the right of the people and remove cases of infringement in more than one category, including those who fail to pay the state’s dues or modern amendments to the lands of the state, whether by building or agriculture.
He pointed out that all of this takes place in coordination with the crisis management of the Ministry of Local Development and the Center for the National Emergency and Public Safety Network, adding that the first stage of the 26th wave that ended on May 30th came with its fruits and represented in the implementation of more than 18 thousand removal of various violations on lands in the Egyptian governorates, including 3225 cases that are constructed on the lands of the state on an area Fadana.
The Minister of Local Development, Dr. Manal Awad, announced yesterday, Tuesday, the launch of the second phase of the 26th wave to remove encroachments on state property lands and agricultural lands, in all governorates, in cooperation with the governors, security directorates, states, all executive agencies and the Higher Land Recovery Committee.
