The global media described Indian Mrs. Bumi Chauhan as the most fortunate woman in the world, after she survived a horrific air disaster just because she was late for a few minutes.
A passenger was late for the Indian plane, and she was written to survive
Bumi was about to ride Indian Airways flight No. 171 flying from Ahmedabad Airport to London, but she was suspended in heavy traffic congestion, which led to a delay in reaching Sardar Vallahai Airport with just ten minutes.
When it arrived, the plane had already taken off, to save it from those few moments of a tragic fate.
According to the NDTV network, Bumi tried to catch the plane by communicating with the airline employees upon its arrival, but it was informed that the doors were closed and that the plane left.
Minutes later, the plane crashed immediately after taking off, which led to the death of 241 passengers and the crew of the plane, and only one passenger named Fishwash Kumar Ramish, a British citizen of Indian origin.
Bumi, who was staying in Baharoch and visited her family in Ahmed Abad, was on her way to return to her husband in London.
When I learned of the news moments after it was prevented from going up to the plane, she suffered a nervous breakdown.
