Khaled Fathi, President of the Egyptian Handball Federation, revealed the position of Zamalek’s participation in the Club World Cup “Super Globe” in the next edition, accompanied by Al -Ahly club, the African Super Cup title.
Fathi told Cairo 24: Zamalek will participate in the Club World Cup in the host’s seat, and the organizer represented in the federation and the United company has the right to nominate a team to participate as a host in the tournament, and the choice was signed for the Zamalek team, next to Al -Ahly, who was nominated for the tournament in the CAF Handball Cup title after beating Esperance.
The head of the Hand Federation added: The federation has the right to nominate any club to participate in the tournament in order to develop the game, and to gain more experiences for the players, which is beneficial to the national team and the handball game.
According to the regulations of the International Handball Federation, the host country has the right to the Club World Cup “Super Globe” to participate in two teams of its clubs, where the African Super Champion gets a direct qualification card, while the local union is granted the right to choose the second team representing the state.
