Mr. Marwan Fouad Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, held a meeting with a number of representatives of the youth bodies, during which ways of supporting the programs and initiatives implemented by these bodies were discussed, in order to enhance their compatibility with the goals and vision of the ministry, and keep pace with the aspirations of the bodies in embracing young people and enabling them to participate actively in the development process.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs affirmed the ministry’s keenness to support and empower youth bodies, based on its vital role as a major incubator for youth, and because of the ability to absorb young energies, develop their talents, turn their ideas into pioneering projects that serve the community, pointing to the Ministry’s aspiration to the continued youth bodies in providing quality and distinguished programs that are in harmony with their goals and directions, and contribute to attracting more young people Bahraini, providing a stimulating environment that enhances their creativity and innovation.
The meeting discussed the results of the events and programs implemented by the bodies during the last period, where representatives of the bodies reviewed the positive impact of these programs on young people, and their role in developing their skills and enhancing their awareness of society issues. Future plans for bodies have also been reviewed, and their initiatives aimed at expanding the base of youth participation.
For their part, representatives of the youth bodies expressed their great appreciation of the support that the Ministry of Youth Affairs attaches to their programs and activities, stressing that this support enhances their ability to embrace young people and meet their training and skills needs, and pushes their path towards more innovation and excellence in youth work.
