The city of Hurghada has recently witnessed a significant increase in tourist occupancy rates, coinciding with the arrival of dozens of flights daily.
32 thousand tourists arrive at Hurghada International Airport within 48 hours
During the past 48 hours, the arrival schedules at Hurghada International Airport revealed the arrival of 215 international flights, with 32,000 tourists from different nationalities.
During the current period, hotels and tourist resorts in Hurghada witnessed an unprecedented boom in the rates of reservations on them, after choosing the coastal city in the list of the best 15 tourist destinations in the world, according to the report of “Travel Trends 2025” issued by the MasterCard Institute of Economics.
Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, said that the inclusion of Hurghada in the world rankings is evidence of the position of Hurghada and put it on the list of the best tourist destinations in the Middle East.
The Governor of the Red Sea pointed out that the executive and competent authorities are working to support the infrastructure and environmental projects to ensure the sustainability of tourism growth, stressing that the integration of government efforts and the private sector will establish the Hurghada site on the list of international tourism destinations for the coming years.
