Ahmed Salem said in television statements: What happened is a historic fall for the Egyptian football, and the Board of Directors of the Zamalek Club continues to claim his right, which is to resort to the International Sports Court.
Regarding the crisis of stopping the registration, Ahmed Salem said: The amount of 988 thousand euros has been paid to the Moroccan Khaled Bou Tayyib, and we will pay the Pacico dues within a week.
In the same context, the board of directors of the Zamalek Club, headed by Captain Hussein Labib, decided officially to object to the decision of the grievance committee, and to file an urgent complaint to the International Sports Court (CAS) to obtain its full rights and apply the regulations correctly regarding the last summit meeting, which witnessed the incident of complete withdrawal, which required deduction of 3 points from the withdrawing team, to be added to 3 other points after considering Zamalek a winner 3/zero.
Zamalek decided to file a complaint with the Sports Court, after the decision issued today, Thursday, by the Grievances Committee of the Football Association regarding the grievance submitted by the club against the decision of the association’s board of directors to amend the previously issued penalties regarding the summit match, in a flagrant violation of all the principles of justice, equality, equal opportunities and sporting integrity.
