The ceiling of a cinema in Argentina collapsed during the presentation of the latest parts of the “Final Destination” series, which caused a number of viewers to be injured, in a strange incident that seemed to be a scene from the movie itself.
The accident occurred in “Ocho Cinema” in La Plata city in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires, while “Final Destination: Bloodlines”, the sixth parts of the famous series, which revolves around people surviving a disaster to pursue death in sudden and terrifying ways.
Pictures and clips spread on social media showed the size of the damage, with sarcastic comments from the Internet pioneers about the film’s transformation into reality, while a number of witnesses attributed the recent rains in the region.
In media statements, one of the attendees said that she was not planning to attend the movie, but she decided to enter with her daughter and her friend spontaneously on her birthday, adding: “At the end of the show, we heard a strong voice and thought that it was part of the action scenes in the movie, but suddenly a part of the ceiling fell over us.”
The lady was injured in her shoulder, back, knee and ankle, but she survived a serious injury after her sitting was placed without her wreckage in the head, and described the behavior of the film administration as “irresponsible”, noting that she would file an official complaint against them.
